Easter Eggspress Belfast

Easter Bunny will be on board and all ticket holding children will receive an Easter egg.
All tickets cost £15. Children under 3 years of age not occupying a seat do not need a ticket. However, children of any age travelling on the Easter trains must have a valid ticket - if they wish to receive an Easter egg.
Light refreshments and bar service available on board the train and the station cafe will also be open. No buggies can be carried on these trains. No dogs allowed except guide dogs

Three Billy Goats Gruff

Join our living history team at the Navan Centres live action interpretation of the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff – the perfect Easter experience for all the family!
Trip-trap went the Three Billy Goats Gruff on their adventure to find some lovely green grass!  They trip-trapped here they trip-trapped there until they could see a hill full of grass!  To get to the grassy hill they have to cross a bridge, but the bridge is home to the meanest Troll in all the lands!  Will they be able to get pass the Troll or will the Troll Gobble them all up?  There is only one way to find out!

Easter at Huntington Castle

This year Huntington Castle in Carlow hosts their annual treasure hunt around the garden – armed with a basket and a set of clues, each child will head off on a quest for golden nuggets (with a chocolate surprise at the end!). There will also be adorable little new lambs to meet, and a chance to explore the woodland adventure playground. Stroll through the stunning gardens – laid out in the 1680's they feature formal designs, lakes, champion trees and more recent additions such as new plantings and the rose garden.

Easter at Moher Hill Farm is when the bunnies take centre stage. This is a perfect time to visit the farm as all the animals are keen to show off their young.
Take part in the Easter Egg Hunt, where the Easter Bunny ensures that each child is looked after, there are also fun and games for all the family, including face painting, egg and spoon races and the most popular three legged races. Pose for a photograph with the Easter Bunny or for the tiny tots take part in the ‘Under 5’s Easter Egg Hunt’. Easter at Moher Hill Farm is a treat for families and is a day not to be missed. Croke Park Easter Egg Hunt

    When: Thursday 18th to Monday 22nd April
    Your little ones will ‘spring’ into action as they follow clues around Croke Park, Europe’s third largest stadium, to find hidden tokens. They will have to keep their eyes peeled and listen closely to the guide’s fascinating stories of Croke Park and the GAA if they want to complete the hunt successfully and earn their reward of a delicious Cadbury’s Easter egg at the end. 
    During the tour you will also be treated to behind-the-scenes access to the team dressing rooms, warm-up area and the media centre for a bird’s eye view of the stadium. You will also get to run out pitch side through the players’ tunnel and take a seat in the VIP area!

    This year's, Mad Hatters Tea Party will feature Curious World an Alice in Wonderland themed trapeze show. Watch the antics of the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit as Alice's world gets curiouser and curiouser. After the show you can interact with the characters and learn some circus skills!
    We have lots of Easter treats to give away on our Easter Trail throughout the day. All you've got to do is solve the clues spread across Deerpark to win one of the hundreds of Easter treats that our Easter Bunny specially delivered.
    If fashion is more your thing why not make your own Mad Hat and be in with a chance to win the Grand Prize for the Maddest Hat at the Tea Party in our Hatwalk Fashion Show. You don't even have to bring a hat because our expert Make and Do team will have all the materials and give you all the help you need on the day.
    We will have lots of activities including The Teacup Ride, egg-citing Inflatables, Face-painting and more. To top it off your favourite Tea Party characters will also be there in all their Easter finery. The event, organised by dlr Events, is an initiative by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.  Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has a huge variety of events planned for 2019.

Easter at Belvedere is a special time and our fantastic Easter Treasure Trail is a wonderful event for families to participate in. The journey to meet the Easter Bunny involves a lot of fun and meeting a variety of interesting costumed characters and earning treats along the way.
There will be games and tasks that will need doing to show Easter Bunny and his team that you’ve travelled the trail properly. At that stage the Easter Bunny and friends will have a particular chocolate treat to give to each child participating. After the fun and when everyone is tired out, it will be time for home and a well-earned rest.

Easter at Glenroe Farm

Egg races throughout the day starting with the first race at 10.30 a.m. and taking place at approximately 20-minute intervals throughout the day with the last race at 4.30 p.m. each evening. Each child aged 2 – 14 years old will get a ticket at the Admissions Desk on arrival which allows them to take part in an egg race while on the farm. There are two separate areas for egg races: (1) Children aged 6 and under at the Lower end of the playground and (2) Children 7 and over – beside the deer pen on the farm. 
Over the 3 days thousands of crème eggs or similar will be hidden and found! Each race has a special egg (duck egg) and the lucky person who finds the duck egg gets a special prize. Adult egg races throughout the day – a must to take part in or view from the sidelines! You’ll crack up at what goes on in these races! These races happen in the field beside the deer pen. Wear flat comfortable shoes for running if you want to take part.

The lovely people from Stonebrook Farm will be there with their cutest and furriest of animals this Easter Sunday and bank holiday Monday. There will be lambs, rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, hamsters, tortoises and a little goat.
Children are allowed to pet the animals, bottle feed the pet lambs, hold baby chicks and ducklings etc. This is a free event and no booking is required.
