Dublin   Marsh's Library               
Unchanged for three centuries, this perfectly preserved library of the early Enlightenment, with its original oak bookcases, houses more than 25,000 rare and fascinating books.  The library is open to the public and children are particularly welcome. The library is closed on Sundays.

Leinster Fleadh
Experience some of the best traditional music and dancing that Leinster has to offer at the Leinster Fleadh Cheoil 2016. This year Fleadh Laighean will be held in Kilkenny City from 4 to 10 July. This Irish traditional music festival is guaranteed to bring a wealth of talent to the streets of the city, with competitors showcasing their skills in a wide variety of traditional instruments, song and dance competitions. The Irish Maritime Festival          
Taking place in Drogheda, Co. Louth, the Festival is a busy weekend both on and off the water.  As always, the festival is a brilliant event for families.  Children will enjoy the Pirate Parade, Viking long boats, water displays, story-telling, paper boat races, Billy Bubbles, archaeology digs, special kids cookery demos and much more.

Magical Fairies  
Bord na Móna and The Irish Fairy Door Company celebrate the return of the Summer’s biggest family event as the fairies magically descend upon Lough Boora Discovery Park for the highlight of the family events calendar.  Bord na Móna is hosting a spectacular party to celebrate the opening of the new Mini-Beast Hotel in Fairy Avenue, to raise funds for Barretstown children’s charity. The magical family event will take place on Saturday July 9th from 12.30pm – 3.30pm at Lough Boora Discovery Park.

Galway International Arts Festival           
The Galway International Arts Festival is Ireland’s largest annual arts festival, taking place in 2016 from 11th – 24th July in the city of Galway. Willie Clancy Summer School     
The Willie Clancy Summer School, a major traditional Irish music, song and dance event held annually in Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland. Valentia Island King Scallop Festival        
The Valentia Island Kind Scallop Festival, now in its seventh year, promises visitors scrumptious food and beautiful, secluded scenery. A Walk To Remember   
The O'Gorman family have organised a charity "Walk to Remember" They have organised this to celebrate and to remember Carol on what would be her 21st Birthday.  They would like to invite everyone to come along and join them in a 5k walk along Ballybunion beach and to take the opportunity to remember your lost loved ones.  Donate €5 to take part and all money collected will be donated to Intensive Care Unit in Kerry General Hospital.
