Galway Blue Challenge                
The Galway Blue Challenge involves a charity cycle from Maam Cross to Croagh Patrick, a climb of Croagh Patrick followed by an overnight stay in Westport, then a cycle back to Galway the following day.   All in aid of the Galway Autism Partnership.   A great event to support & spectate.

Keem Bay           
Keem Bay, at the western end of Achill Island, is one of the most picturesque bays in Ireland. It is accessible by road over a twisting clifftop route on the side of Croaghaun mountain. Keem Bay is virtually uninhabited (the only building is a former coastguard station) and provides a peaceful and magnificent retreat from the 21st century.

Glenveagh National Park
Glenveagh National Park is one of six national parks in Ireland. Situated in the Northwest of Co. Donegal, Glenveagh encompasses some 16,000 hectares in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains. Such a great wilderness is the haunt of many interesting plants and animals. These lands were managed as a private deer forest before becoming a national park in 1975. With the completion of public facilities Glenveagh National Park was officially opened to the public in 1986.
