The Shenot Family operates a 100+ acre fruit and vegetable farm and retail market. Specializing in the highest quality produce, as well as locally raised meats, cheese, dry goods, and homemade fudge. Also offering educational tours, field trips, and hayrides to the pumpkin patch/corn maze.

National Leprechaun Hunt
Back by popular demand the National Leprechaun Hunt will take place in Carlingford on May 12th 2019.  Registration begins at 12.00 pm on the Village Green.  Registered hunters will be required to have an authenticated license and hand stamp mark. Who will find the gold? €4,000 in prizes to be won!

Lisduff Adventure Farm
Lisduff Adventure Farm is a fun family venue with a wide range of activities for all ages to ensure they are kept entertained regardless of the weather with our indoor and outdoor facilities. Lisduff Farm has an indoor activity area which includes a two storey indoor play area, slides and air guns. Our outdoor area consists of a pet farm with emu, goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, pony, ducks and many other animals. It also includes playgrounds, a mini farm, a duck pond, picnic areas and a train.

National Reptile Zoo
National Reptile Zoo is Ireland’s only dedicated reptile zoo in Kilkenny providing an entertaining hands on view of various reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Displaying over 100 animals and 50 species, from geckos to giant spiders, cobras to crocodiles

Ardmore Open Farm and Mini Zoo
Ardmore Open Farm and Mini Zoo aimed to set itself apart from other facilities nationwide by combining a large indoor play centre with an open farm with particular emphasis on rare breeds of animals. There’s plenty to keep children of all ages entertained for hours. Their animals were sourced from all over Europe ranging from miniature species to the extremely large, some of which have not been seen in this country before.  More than 60 different species and 100 different animals are usually on display on the farm and are easily accessible, allowing children to appreciate the wonders of nature up close and in a friendly, pleasant and safe environment.

Race & Taste Festival
This event is a unique, weekend opportunity in Mallow to showcase and celebrate Corks fantastic food & arts scene along with the official opening of the new 7f sprint horse racing track. Darkness Into Light Limerick City
Symbolically the walk represents the therapeutic counselling journey.  It sparks conversation about the importance of mental health and wellbeing in all our lives. A timed and measured 5k run which takes place at Muckross house. Best of all it is a free event open to all, both adults and children. The Bealtaine Festival 2019 will see hundreds of events for, by and featuring older people all across Ireland, offering theatre, visual arts, music and more. This year’s theme is ‘And catch the heart off guard’ from Seamus Heaney’s poem ‘Postscript’. The Bealtaine Festival is Ireland’s unique nationwide celebration of creativity as we age and is an initiative of Age & Opportunity.

The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival is an annual festival of music, comedy, theatre, art and literature that takes place in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Meath Beo 3: traditional Irish music series in Hamwood House
A series of traditional Irish music performances, set in beautiful historic properties right across County Meath. Mícheál O’ Raghallaigh & Louise Mulcahy will be playing the Concertina and Flute in Hamwood House.

RTE All Ireland Drama Festival
The RTÉ All-Ireland Drama Festival comprises of nine nights of the best in Irish amateur drama performed at the Dean Crowe Theatre Athlone for the prestigious Festival Trophy as well as for other major acting and technical awards.  The festival is supported by an active fringe which involves street theatre, art exhibitions, workshops and events for all age groups.

The Teddy Bear Picnic
The Teddy Bear Picnic takes place at Rathwood Home & Garden in Carlow. You can go on an adventure with Goldilocks and the three bears and visit the teddy bear factory where you will create your very own bear with Goldilocks and her friends. You can hop on board the Rathwood Express Train with the three bears and your new teddy bear friend. The Rathwood Express Train takes you down to the woodland to feed the ducks and geese. After the train journey, children enjoy a picnic with their new friends. There are plenty of surprises and fun along the way.

Killruddery Farm Market
Kilruddery’s Farm Market offers a weekly oasis of local produce, grown both in their own Victorian Walled Garden and just a few miles from their home. With scrumptious hot food served along with talented local crafters and makers, it is the perfect day out for the family. The Farm shop is always well stocked with freshly laid Killruddery orchard eggs, freshly baked bread from the Bakers Table, with lots more.
