Trail Fun Run
Juju is back with the Adventure Kids for a trail fun run and introduction to trail running session. This run is for older kids age 10+ (and their parents if they want to run too). Juju will bring the kids on a fun run around the Glendalough trails and onto the shoulder of Brockagh Mountain. During the session, we will stop off on route to learn some Juju tricks of the trails! It take about 2 hours and we will run approx 5 km with stops for rests, trail running introduction drills and lots of fun! Meeting on Saturday 28th

Samhain Cavan Burren Picnic
Toast the ancestors this Samhain with a bring and share picnic in Cavan Burren Park. A guided walk led by Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark local guide Bee Smith will include fact, stories and some poems inspired by the epic Cavan Burren landscape.
Then we will gather for tea, coffee, some cake and goodies to remember all those who have gone before us in this liminal space.
On Sat 28th Oct we will be cycling from Eyre Square Galway city to the picturesque village of Dunlavin Co. Wicklow . It is a 184k cycle undertaken in one day all in aid of the Irish Cancer Society who do amazing work. I decided a few years ago to organise a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society having lost an Aunt and two Uncle's to cancer in a short period of time. Cancer is an illness that effects every household in Ireland and any contributions given would be greatly appreciated .

The event will be open to the public and the lads hope to raise a large amount of money for the Irish cancer society. The current world record is 25 Hours so thats the time the lads have to beet. NCBI - Seams & Screams Fashion Show 30 Oct 2017
NCBI LETTERKENNY, is hosting a fashion show 'Seams and Screams' in aid of the National Council for the Blind Ireland. Various volunteers from the shop and the general public will model the clothes that we have in store and those attending will have the opportunity to purchase clothing and accessories on the night. There will be an auction and raffle on the night. Everyone is warmly welcomed to attend.

The legendary Kíla will host a special interactive kids' show where they lead children in performance through their songs from the Oscar-nominated 'Song of the Sea' on Saturday, 28 October at 11am. A fun and creative way to get children to interact with music a show that engages kids from the very start. They are asked to interact with the music throughout, becoming a soundscape for a melody through dancing and clapping . Kids love when the band do some musical acrobatics, becoming intertwined and playing each others instruments.

The Purple Turnip Festival returns to Lisburn for its 9th year in October 2017.
Lisburn City Centre hosts its annual Purple Turnip Festival in October with a family fun weekend. On Saturday 28th October from 11am – 3pm dance on the interactive light floor in Market Square with DJ ‘Amazing Aldo’ in Market Square and enjoy free craft activities with workshops to make your very own paper pumpkin. Try and find the Ghosts & Ghouls en route! On return to the forest park building you can pick your own pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch and carve it into your own lantern to use for Halloween. On departure collect your ‘I have met the Gruffalo Certificate’ & Sticker.

Our annual tractor run will take place on Saturday 28th October 2017 in Killylea Church Hall grounds, £10 per tractor. All in aid of NI Childrens Hospice, Childrens Heartbeat Trust (in memory of John Joe Toner ❤) & the NI Air Ambulance. Entertainment will be provided by Jenny b , Paul kelly and ritchie Remo.
