Last days of Michael Jackson to be turned into TV series

Focusing on the last sixteen weeks of the artist's life, Warner Brothers Television Group has bought to rights to an upcoming novel dealing with the last days of Michael Jackson's life before it has even been published.

American talk show host and novelist Tavis Smiley has yet to fully begin his work on Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson’s Last Days, but it has been purchased by Warners along with another of his works, My Journey with Maya, which will involve the author's interactions with famed poet Maya Angelou.

The Michael Jackson book, and subsequent TV series, will focus on the period of time when the star was preparing for the fifty sell-out shows during his This Is Itconcerts in London's O2 arena, and Jackson's death from cardiac arrest just eighteen days before the concert was set to begin.
