New Aer Lingus service will slash check-in times

Aer Lingus is aiming to "revolutionise" the check-in experience at Dublin Airport, as it rolls out new self-service stations that could drastically reduce queuing times.

New Express Bag Drop stations have been piloted in Terminal 2 for several weeks and now 40 kiosks have been officially unveiled across the airport.

The airline has said they will deliver a 200% increase in check-in capacity:

"In a matter of minutes or even seconds, guests can complete the check-in process, deposit their bag and proceed swiftly towards departures."

The service is available to passengers who check-in online or at Terminal 2's check-in consoles.

Here's how it works...
