Energia crunch the numbers & serve up tasty energy prices to Tayto Park in 2.6GW electricity deal.
Tayto Park recently signed the new two-year deal with Energia. Under its terms, Energia will supply 1.3 Gigawatt hours of electricity each year to Tayto Park. The energy will help to power the park’s numerous big rides, as they are all big consumers of electricity.
Tayto Park, Ireland’s favourite theme park and zoo, is the perfect day out for all the family with attractions for all ages. Ride the infamous Cú Chúlainn Coaster, try your hand at rock climbing and sky walking or take a tour around the legendary Tayto crisp factory. Check out the parks exceptional and diverse animal collection, which features a variety of animals including big-cats, meerkats, monkeys, fossa and birds of prey.
This June, Tayto Park will welcome a host of new attractions including ‘The Viking Voyage at the Park’, a one of a kind, Viking-themed flume ride complete with 1.7 million litres of water, a Viking village, 5 replica Viking ships and 20 life size Vikings.

Energia has a 26% market share of the Irish business electricity and gas market supplying the energy needs of almost 60,000 business customers. In addition to renewable assets, the company also operates a 750MW gas fired power station in north Dublin.
