Energia announces national partnership with Advance Pitstop
Energy efficiency projects to lead energy savings goals. Energy supply contract expected to be worth approximately €300,000 per annum to Energia.
10 September 2018: Energia, Ireland’s leading business energy company has announced that it will supply power to Advance Pitstop, serving its 30 branches and over 200 staff across Ireland. The supply agreement is expected to be worth approximately €300,000 per annum to Energia.
Under the agreement, Energia will supply Advance Pitstop with an expected annual consumption of 4.5 GWh. Energia will also supply energy funding towards lighting upgrade projects being completed throughout a number of Advance Pitstop locations.
Advance Pitstop carries out over 26,000 car services and supplies in excess of 300,000 tyres per annum. The car maintenance company serves over 175,000 customers annually and have set ambitious targets around the reduction of their carbon footprint. For example, to date the company has converted 40% of its branches to LED lighting with 60% to be completed by the end of this year. The appointment of Energia is an important element of this ongoing sustainability drive.
Commenting on the agreement, Eddie Ryan Marketing Director, Advance Pitstop commented; “We are currently undertaking a significant transformation across our business which will represent an investment of almost €2 million between 2017 and 2019.
