November 09

Black Box Network Services, one of the world’s largest providers of voice communications, data infrastructure and networking products, in Northern Ireland, has joined the growing number of businesses switching to renewable energy from Energia.

The company, with three sites spread over 4500sq ft, located in Antrim, is part of the world wide Black Box Network Services organisation, dedicated to designing, building and maintaining today’s integrated voice and data communications systems for industries including healthcare, hospitality and retail.

Commenting on the companies reasons for signing up to Energia’s renewable energy supply, Roisin Lynch, from Black Box Network Services explained, “With energy prices increasing it is has been extremely beneficial for us to switch to Energia’s new energy deal, as we are now saving money on our electricity costs.”

Roisin continues, “As our electricity is now supplied from a renewable energy source, we have been able to reduce the company’s carbon emissions and Energia made the process of moving to renewable energy very simple.”

Michael Nugent, spokesman for Energia said, “We have been able to reduce business energy costs sometimes by up to 15% and with over 50,000 business customers throughout Ireland we have a good track record. Our renewable energy supply has made green energy more accessible for organisations including, manufacturers, restaurants and retailers, and our new “green” customers are delighted to be able to obtain electricity at up to 15% less than what was previously charged”

Any business can switch to Energia easily as there are no new wires or meters, just a phone call. To switch choose from two switching methods: by getting an Energia agent to come out and complete the formalities (9045 9070) or by calling the customer helpline 0845 070 1789 armed with the latest electricity bill, bank details and current meter reading.
