Heaney Meats save with Energia deal

Heaney Meats is one of Irelands leading catering suppliers with over 300 years of experience of delivering top quality meat products nationwide.

Heaney Meats is set to avail of cost savings after signing a new electricity deal with competitive electricity provider Energia.

The terms of the new deal will see Energia supply Heaney Meats state of the art facility in the Liosban Industrial Estate with 450,000 kilowatt hours of electricity over the coming 12 months.

Heaney Meats is a family owned business which has been established for over 300 years. Generations of knowledge and experience have been handed down from father and son Heaney Meats are renowned nationwide for there Glasan farm beef which can be sampled in some of Irelands top hotels and restaurants. Recently Heaney Meats have been branching into the retail market so as to cater to the growing needs of house holds all over the country wishing to feed there families with top quality Irish Meat

Energia has consistently been one of the largest investors in the renewable sector, having invested a significant €200 million in the last 2 years in over 100MW of wholly owned wind farm developments and supporting €1 billion of investment in 540MW of third party wind farms to date. In addition to renewable assets, the company also operates a 750MW gas fired power station in north Dublin.
