6th March 2017 –Oldcastle-based business Briody Beds has been highly commended in the 2017 SFA National Small Business Awards in the manufacturing category, sponsored by Energia.
 
The results were announced last week by Minister for Small Business Pat Breen. Over 500 businesses entered this year’s awards.    
 
Briody Beds is a family business set up in 1974 by Benny Briody and his wife Brid. The tradition of handmade bedding continues at the company’s plants in Ballinrink, with the aid of their daughter Bridget and sons Martin, Brendan and David. The latest technology ensures affordability and high quality. Briody Beds employs over 100 people locally.

Looking at the fantastic success of past winners and nominees, the future is very bright for tonight’s contestants and the Irish business environment."
