€50 dual fuel credit for online switchers from 1st October
Energia, Ireland’s greenest home energy provider, is set to introduce a super €50 dual-fuel cashback offer for Irish households switching energy suppliers.
From Wednesday 1st October, anyone signing up online for Energia’s Dual Fuel offer will receive a €50 cash-back credit. This discount will be applied to their first bill in 2015. Those choosing to switch for only electricity or gas will receive a generous €20 cash-back credit. This super offer will run until Sunday 16th November.
Both cash-back offers will be in addition to Energia’s existing 15% discount off electricity and gas standard rates. This is the cheapest dual fuel deal available and Energia is the only energy provider to offer this level of discount for dual fuel switchers. People can avail of this great new offer on www.energia.ie or by calling 1850 300 700.
The move is certain to put a smile on the face of those turning their central heating on for the first time this year. Energia’s dual fuel offer will save the average household €338 over the course of a year compared to standard rates - the equivalent of over a day’s free energy every week for an average home.
Geoff Codd, Head of Marketing, Energia said, “When we entered the residential energy market in January, we made a commitment to always be competitive on price. This fantastic new offer means that not only will switchers benefit from our really great 15% discount, they’ll also be able to get an additional €50 cash back off their first bill of 2015. This will be a great boost for many during the post-Christmas period when budgets are traditionally tight.”
“Thousands of householders have already taken advantage of Energia’s unbeatable dual fuel offer. They can make a super saving of €338 on the average yearly bill - a particularly great boost over the winter period when energy usage increases greatly.”
Energia is currently saving its customers over €12m on their annual energy costs since launching in January this year.
