Huge guinea pigs take to Dublin’s streets to celebrate Energia’s success in home energy market

 Giant strides made by Energia

20th February 2017 - Energia is making huge strides in the home energy market, according to the latest figures from the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER)*. The report finds that Energia had the biggest net gain of customers during 2016 in the highly competitive home energy market.

To celebrate this success, Energia sent its famous guinea pigs Reginald and Philip on to the streets of Dublin and Cork https://youtu.be/GxRokuIIFKc (video can be downloaded, using password "play", from https://app.wipster.io/Review/CYYUCwCpPWCilUvwuR-Jg_YviHKeCe-t--ffonFRbiYWxGG9hg). The guinea pigs are well known to the public from Energia’s current ad campaign in which they are carrying out a series of lab experiments to find clever humans.

Geoff Codd, Head of Marketing at Energia says “Householders across Ireland are clearly wising up to the huge savings they can make by switching to Energia. For just five minutes work they can save hundreds of Euro a year by moving to us. We have kept our promise to always be competitive on price and are delighted that significant numbers of Irish households appreciate this.”

“Armed with this CER report, our guinea pigs Reginald and Philip recently hit the streets of Cork and Dublin. As you can see, they met lots of members of the public. They reported back to us that clever humans are definitely choosing Energia.”
