Frequently Asked Questions

1.      A certified installer or electrician will get in touch to confirm a suitable time to visit to install the home car charger. 

2.      The electrician will discuss a suitable place on the wall to install the charge point. 

3.      They’ll fix the charge point to the wall and connect it to your home’s power supply.  

If you’re interested in bypassing public charge points, installing a home EV charger can be cost-effective in the long run. Here at Energia, our home chargers range from €1,350 to €1,450 but you can avail of an SEAI grant of €600 towards the purchase and installation of a charger.  

Day rate is from 08:00 - 17:00 and 19:00 - 23:00.
Night rate is from 23:00 - 08:00.
Peak rate is from 17:00 - 19:00.

Yes you will need to have an Electric Car Charger installed to avail of this offer.

To be more energy efficient and make the most cost-efficient use of our EV Plan you should charge you vehicle between midnight and 9am in the summer, while in winter you should charge your vehicle between 11pm and 8am.
