Energia Supercharge Pat Kenny Show Sponsorship on Newstalk

Leading independent energy provider Energia has confirmed that it is renewing its sponsorship of The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk 106-108fm.

Energia has sponsored the show since its launch on Newstalk in September last. The show airs from 10am-12.30pm every weekday, bringing the sharpest analysis of news and current affairs, as well as live music, human interest stories and much, much more.

Commenting on the announcement, Gerard Whelan, CEO Newstalk, said “We are delighted that Energia has decided to renew its sponsorship of the Pat Kenny show. The partnership has worked extremely well to date, mainly as a result of the relationship we have developed with Energia; we look forward to continuing to work closely with them.”

Gary Ryan, Retail Director, Energia commented, “The Pat Kenny Show has firmly established itself in Ireland’s competitive radio market since its launch last autumn. This means it has been the perfect sponsorship for Energia, particularly given the success of our launch into the residential energy market in January. That’s why we are delighted to be renewing our support.”

“This sponsorship is a key part of our wider advertising campaign across all media channels, which continues to help customers save on energy bills by making the switch to Energia.”

“With over 60,000 business customers and a 26% market share of the business electricity and gas market on an all–island basis, as well as a growing number of households switching to Energia, we are one of Ireland’s leading energy providers.”

Energia has a 26% market share of the Irish business electricity and gas market supplying the energy needs of over 60,000 business customers. In addition to renewable assets, the company also operates a 750MW gas fired power station in north Dublin.

Energia has also entered the residential electricity and gas market with a great new offer for consumers nationwide. Energia’s offer will guarantee consumers savings of up to 15% off standard rates for both gas and electricity.

Energia has offices in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Belfast and Omagh.
