As part of this years Inspired Series of Summer Fitness, in partnership with Sacred Space Centre Clondalkin, the South Dublin County Sports Partnership is providing ParkYoga Classes for those aged 18+ in Corkagh Park (near St Johns Road entrance).
This class will consist of yoga exercises, suited for all abilities, outdoors in the fresh air and surroundings of Corkagh Park (please bring your own Yoga Mat as no Yoga Mats will be provided this year, due to Covid-19).

This is a perfect opportunity for you to Get Outdoors, Get Active and Have Fun in a Community - A perfect excuse in a perfect setting. This event is part of the [email protected] Dublin brand which first took place in 2019.

There are 14 brass plaques on the pavements between Middle Abbey Street and Kildare Street.....It's lunchtime, Bloom is hungry and the sights and smells of food tempt him at every stage as he makes his journey, decides where to eat and muses on Dublin buildings, businesses and people real and imagined in 1904.
While the streets remain more or less the same, many of the businesses and buildings have changed.
Join Trish Cronin for a stroll through Dublin in 1904 following the 14 pavement plaques marking Leopold Bloom’s journey.
No prior knowledge of Ulysses required and as next year is the 100th anniversary of the publication of the book this is an ideal way to dip your toe into it!

‘Inside Out’ is a series of FREE summer events for children and families taking place online and outdoors from 10 July to 19 August 19. This seven-week programme of workshops and performances is set to be the largest and most diverse children’s summer arts programme in the country, with something for the whole family to enjoy!
A wide range of family-friendly events will be held online, with additional outdoor events taking place in Ballyfermot, Ballymun, Coolock, Phibsboro, and Walkinstown Libraries.

Divided into a series of rooms, owner Paula will lead us on a journey from the poppy garden, cottage garden and rose garden to the latest room, a serenity garden with a circular pool. A mown path leads to a cut flower garden.
Plants to note are the grasses, ferns, agapanthus and David Austen roses along with trees such as aralias, magnolias, cornus and a selection of prunus including P. Hai-taku and Shirotae.
Refreshments will be served on our visit. Parking at the gardens. Please wear suitable footwear for your visit.
KiIgar is an oasis of calm leading from the formal to more naturalistic planting with views extending to the Meath countryside beyond. A must see!
