At Sunrise Social Leinster, we love Halloween and want to mark the occasion with a special Halloween event - a sunrise hike to the eerie Hellfire Club where we can soak in the stunning autumnal views over Dublin City - and maybe even swap ghost stories!
We'll do the Montpelier Loop up to the top which is about 4km long and takes approximately one hour. Once we reach the top, we'll stop with our flasks and take in the views - and for those brave ones, maybe even explore the Hellfire ruins!
After we make our way back down, you have the option of joining us at the nearby Timbertrove Café for a spot of breakfast or a coffee and cake!

Offaly County Council Arts Office and Birr Theatre & Arts Centre for the county of Offaly. Festival workshops and family performances take place in Birr, Clara and Edenderry and Offaly Libraries during the Festival dates. We endeavour to provide a balance of workshops for primary school children (up to age 12 years) – older children are, of course, welcome to family shows. We programme quality workshops and performances that will see children engaged in arts activity and showcase theatre for young audiences and develop their arts interest.

The Kilkenny Catwalk 2021 is a trail of 21 wonderful Cat sculptures which have been decorated by some of our most talented artists, mainly local, for public display around Kilkenny City. Running from Kilkenny Day (Sun 10th Oct 2021) until Easter 2022.
The Catwalk trail is fun, bright and engaging. Children have fun figuring out which Cat is their favourite, as they exercise, engage with art and explore the city. While for adults it's a great guide to Kilkenny, a walking route with a difference, and a free way to spend an afternoon.
This trail can be engaged with outdoors, regardless of restrictions, and has been designed to bring local businesses, arts and community together. Simply download the 'Kilkenny Catwalk Trail' app and go!

Púca is back and out to make mischief this Halloween. Returning in 2021 with music, fire, feasting and merriment across Ireland’s Ancient East, join in to celebrate the Celtic New Year with the spirits of Halloween.
When light turns to dark and the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead thins, the creatures of Samhain, Ireland’s ancient Halloween tradition, come to life.
Roaming the darkness like a shadowy spectre, the shape-shifting spirit of Púca comes alive! Changing the fortunes of all who cross her path as she transforms the night into a colourful playground of hallowed celebration.
Through the spectacular nights at Púca Festival, they salute the Halloween spirits through folklore, food, myth and music reopening the pathways of reflection and celebration carved by travellers over 2,000 years ago, and lighting up the night sky with awe-inspiring and unearthly illuminations.

Moher Hill Open Farm and Leisure Park is located on the Western Seaboard beside the famous Cliffs of Moher. It is run by the Canavan Family, Delia, Martin, Shane, Lorraine and Alan. The farm opened its doors on the 16th of June 2000 comprising of 6 acres and since then has expanded and developed into a 15 acre family farm and zoo.
This year we encourage all visitors, children and adults, to come in fancy dress Sunday the 24th of October 2021 to feed and pet the animals.

Johnstown Castle is back open but the resident ghosts are non-too happy! They’ve had the Castle all to themselves and cruel Cromwell & other devilish ghouls want to keep the Castle closed but luckily we have some good ghosts who will lead our spook-tacular family tour and with our brave visitors help get rid of the ghastly ghouls for good.
Our spook-tacular family tour, led by some of our good ghosts such as Sir John Esmonde, will take our visitors through our dungeons to banish the evil ghosts for good!
