This will be a lovely early morning walk across Sheskinmore with Emer Magee, the ranger for the area for the last 18 years and Rob Wheeldon, the ranger for North Leitrim. We will convene at McGlincheys, Sandfield and a bus will take everyone to the Mullyvea entrance where the walk will commence.
 
The guided walk will focus on bird and plant identification. Rob worked with BirdWatch Ireland on the Bird Atlas 2007-2011 and has a quick eye and ear for identifying songbirds. Emer has a keen interest in plant identification, especially dune species.

Learn how to use the outdoor gym equipment in Albert Reynolds Peace Park. Each machine is fitted with a QR code that gives instructions on how to use the machine in Irish Sign Language, spoken language and closed captions. This system will be explained on the day as well as a Longford Sports Partnership tutor giving instruction on how to use the machines.

Sound artists Mick O'Shea and Irene Murphy propose an immersive sonic experience where the audience becomes part of a sonic ecosystem.
 
The Eco Showboat Mayfly expedition is a four-month arts voyage from Limerick to Enniskillen on the Mayfly, the flagship of the Eco Showboat project, and the first solar electric boat to make this journey.
 
On Sunday 29th May the Mayfly will dock at Clonmacnoise marina to host a performance by sound artists Irene Murphy and Mick O'Shea.
