The Royal Meath Show has exhibits of cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, horses, dogs, pigs and home industries which include farm produce, fruit, flowers, cookery section, knitting and needle work, handcraft, art and photography.
One of the top agricultural shows in the region, the Royal Meath Show attracts breeders from far and wide for the many competitions on throughout the day and a highlight this year is sure to be the Irish Show Association All Ireland Young Stock Person Finals.

Dublin City Council is delighted to announce a new, free, ticketed, family-friendly event series, ‘Outdoor Cinema Club’, taking place in the city’s Meeting House Square every Sunday in September.
 
The programme for ‘Outdoor Cinema Club’ is especially curated for children between 5-8 years old and 8-11 years old to enjoy. There will be food and drinks available from vendors onsite and walkabout fun characters for photo opportunities.

This Exhibition tells the story of what happened during those horrific years. We use rare 19th century photographs, witness accounts, contemporary sketches as well as maps and statistical information. Also on display are three American Newspapers containing articles on the state of Ireland at this time. A 15-minute film with seating is included in the Exhibition and the average time spent by visitors is 1 and 1/4 hours.
