Vegan Potluck BBQ
Never been to a potluck before? Watch this video
It's simple - just bring some vegan food to share - it can be homemade or shop bought, as long as it's VEGAN (no meat, eggs, dairy, honey etc). We charge €3 in to cover the cost of renting the venue and for general potluck supplies like plates, napkins etc. It's great value because you'll get a huge variety of vegan food and there's free tea and coffee too :) There's no entry fee for under 16s.If the weather is good we'll break out the BBQ again! So keep an eye on the weather forecast ;) But don't worry - if the weather is crap there will be plenty of tasty food inside and now we have a microwave to heat it up :)You don't have to be vegan to attend the event - just make sure you ONLY bring vegan food. There is always an amazing variety of food - if you think vegans only eat lettuce you will be in for a shock! A delicious shock...

Wiggle in Dingle
Wiggle came together at the turn of the century playing their very own unique music which could best be described as dub jamtronica. They incorporate the bass of Dub with the beats and rhythms of DnB, Jungle and Trance over which they lay stream of consciousness vocals, live sampling, guitar diddles and key lines. Initial influences came from roots reggae and dub as well as their immediate musical surroundings in Cork: the mighty Revelation Sound, Bonjai Massive, Green Monitor, Sultans of Ping, Cremé de Meth... Toby does the vocals and provides the beats and backdrops with which Rory and Colm intertwine their sounds. Rory plays mostly keys and Colm plays mostly guitar though both can be heard employing samplers, electric mandolins, chimes and all manner of instruments throughout their legendary live performances. No two gigs have been the same since they first started playing making each gig a very special event not to be missed... Get there early! Early bird tickets

Ravensdale Forest
One of our favourite activities is to just get out and about for a long walk or a hike up a hill or a meander through a woods or forest – it’s bound to put some colour in your cheeks! Bring a flask of hot chocolate and some snacks to keep tm going. At Ravensdale is an hour long trail going past the river, bridges, large trees, standing stones and old coach roads. Start at the car park and leave on the left hand side (looking up the hill) and follow the trail up hill for approximately 400m where you join an old forest road and cross a bridge and follow the forest road to the next junction. Veer right and follow the forest road. Just below you, are the Ravensdale standing stones, well worth a detour for 10 to 15 minutes. Returning to the route, the trail drops down right following an old forest track, switch backing as it drops down to the valley bottom. Near the county road, the trail turns right and follows the river, crossing it by a footbridge, and returns you back to the car park.
Open all year round
