Dublin City Hall has a museum/exhibition in the basement, called "The Story of the Capital", it is an exhibition that you should definitely check out at some stage. Opening hours are Monday-Saturday 10:00-17:15.

The beauty and architecture of these parks will also be a major talking point at Parks: Our Shared Heritage - what do you notice in the park? Consider the social history of these parks, built as places of leisure as a result of the industrial revolution, and how they changed the world, giving people space, air, and a place to day-dream and watch the clouds go by.

Mad Hatters Tea Party  
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is one of the most famous scenes from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.  To celebrate Easter and the full bloom of spring, DLR Events invite young and old to put on their maddest hat and come to the Mad Hatters Tea Party. This year the Mad Hatters Tea Party falls on Easter Sunday so a highlight will be the new Easter Egg Hunt. Follow the signs around the park, collect the code words from the back of the signs, get them all right and collect an Easter treat.

The GAA Museum celebrates Ireland’s unique national games of hurling and Gaelic football. Castlecomer Discovery Park Easter Activities      
There are plenty of Easter fun activities at Castlecomer Discovery Park. On Easter Sunday from 11am to 4pm there is an Easter egg hunt costing €10 per family. Also on Easter Sunday for ages 2 and over you can decorate your own Easter glove puppet from 11am to 4pm in the Visitor Centre. Booking advised.

Galway Food Festival    
The theme of this year’s festival is 'Food and Community'. Food is central to the stories we tell each other and is vital for forging a sense of community. Galway is home to many different communities, both local and international. It is central that we marry these global cultures with our own in order a secure a brighter future for food. Together, we can make a change and make food a central part of our daily lives. Our Breaking Bread event on Easter Monday is one of the many events that seek to bring our community together.

Easter Parade   
The town’s Easter Sunday parade is an annual celebration of Roscommon’s legendary community spirit in action.  It is wonderful occasion where all aspects of life in Roscommon can be showcased and celebrated.  We are calling on all businesses, community groups, sports clubs, schools and voluntary organisations to put in a float to make this year’s parade one of the best yet!

Easter Egg Challenge     
Lifetime Lab in association with Bishopstown and District Lions Club have a great day organised to get the Easter weekend started ! On Good Friday 14th April a host of activities including face painting, make and do, balloon making, falconry and magic shows are on offer all centered around an eggciting Easter Egg Challenge. All completed Easter egg quiz cards will receive a prize and proceeds from the event will be distributed to local primary schools in the Bishopstown area.

Tír na nÓg Festival          
IRELAND’S best children’s festival – Tír na nÓg Children’s Festival – returns to Tralee, Co Kerry this Easter with a MASSIVE list of fun events for youngsters this coming March 25th-28th. On Monday 17th April The Funhouse Newry will have free face painting and bouncy castle 1-4pm and on Tuesday 18th there will be Kids Club crafts from 10-1pm, Face painting 1-4pm and a special show from Louis the entertainer at 3pm. Louie brings his own unique blend of comedy and magic that all the kids will love.

The town will be animated from 12.30pm with street theatre and Bang On!,  a junk percussion duo who create funky beats and rhythmic treats using a huge homemade drum kit which is made from recycled objects. The highlight of the day will be the Spring Street Carnival and the route will begin at 3pm in Regent Street, down Francis Street, to Castle Place, continuing to High Street and returning to Regent Street via Gibson's Lane.
