Dublin International Piano Festival          
This summer will see Dublin’s fourth International Piano Festival and Summer Academy take place. The DIPF is both an intensive and educational programme for advanced piano students and an exciting concert series for music loving folks. From 23 to 31 July, DIPF will bring a fantastic array of concerts to the National Concert Hall (NCH), the Hugh Lane Gallery, DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama and the Piano Academy of Ireland from top-class international pianists and emerging artists alike.

An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour
The An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour 11km Family Spin takes place on Saturday 23rd July. The family spin starts at 5pm from Castle Street, Trim. Families can register on the day from 2pm in the marquee on the grounds of Trim Castle. Following rules will apply – you must register on the day, you must be over 6 yrs of age, you must be able to cycle independently and you must wear a cycle helmet – stabilisers, tricycles, scooters are not permitted. Please note – the family spin is a controlled leisure cycle.  The aim of the family spin is to promote cycling as a fun and enjoyable activity, with safety a key priority. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all stages of the cycle spin. Cost per entrant is €3.  Food stop will be at Jack Quinns where participants can mingle with the Minion, Kevin and Princess Elsa. On return to Trim, participants can enjoy taking part in the cycle challenges and obstacle course along with bouncy castles.

Durrow Scarecrow Festival          
The 7th Durrow Scarecrow Festival is a quirky festival with something for young and old alike. There are scarecrows everywhere in many different designs and themes, and you will find more than one to make you laugh. There is also plenty more on offer in Durrow during the festival including live music, craft workshops, country market, adult, teen and children's entertainment, scarecrow treasure hunt to name but a few with further information on events available on our website.

The Furry 5K is a 5km sponsored walk with all proceeds going to Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI). This amazing charity provides highly trained assistance dogs for children with autism and their families.

Skibbereen Arts Festival: All You Need Is Love - 1960s Street Party            
Then at 7pm Bridge street will be closed to traffic and there'll be music, street theatre, puppet shows, children's games, arts and crafts stalls, a flower power wall, graffiti artists creating a mural, food stalls, and then at 9pm a very special performance of some Beatles songs by a Skibbereen Arts Festival version of  'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' put together especially for the occasion.

The Marine Researchers’ and ‘Lough Hyne: From Pre-history to the Present’ A different perspective of Lough Hyne will be given by Terri as she takes walkers on her daily trail around the lough. Peeling off the layers of history, she will share some of what she has learnt about the landscape and people of the lough over the years.

Ardmore Pattern Festival            
The Ardmore Pattern Festival runs from 18th-24th July is a free fun filled festival for all ages in the pretty seaside and heritage village of Ardmore, Co Waterford with over 70 free events to enjoy and an opportunity to visit one of Ireland's most beautiful locations.  The festival not only has a huge programme of musical, sports, arts and other events, with something for all ages and tastes, but is also includes a number of events each year relating to the Pattern of St. Declan. This year’s events mark the 10th Anniversary of the Festival and include an open-air free concert with Aslan, the Kilkenny Gospel Choir, audiences with Mary Kennedy, Ronnie Delany, Dr Eddie Murphy, Marita Conlon McKenna, Lorna Byrne and Tomi Reichental.  The Ardmore Pattern Festival Committee is made up of a group of local volunteers who give of their time and organisational skills to produce a week-long celebration of fun each year.

Strawberry Tea  Fair
The annual Strawberry Tea Fair is a lovely afternoon out at The Balance House. A great range of art and crafts will be available to purchase and prizes to win from the ever-popular Tombola! This year creative crafts for the children include fun with Jumping Clay and we also have the RSPB telling us lots about wildlife. Along with cakes and sandwiches available in the Tea Barn, there will be a bowl of delicious strawberries and cream/ice cream for everyone.

Super Cup Northern Ireland       
Super Cup Northern Ireland (formerly Milk Cup) has been hosting youth football competitions since 1983 at various venues in Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart, Ballymoney, Limavady and Ballymena. Since small beginnings back then it has turned into one of the premier events of its kind in the world. It attracts youth teams from the British Isles and Ireland. It also hosts teams from round the world along with talented, young, local players. In previous years players such as David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs have participated in the competition.

Skiffie Worlds & Strangford Lough Festival    
Skiffie Worlds arrives in Strangford Lough from the 24-30 July, come and watch up to 50 of these beautiful coastal rowing boats battle it out in this exciting international sport. There will be onshore activities at Delamont during the race week 25-30 July including an Artisan Food Fair on the 29 July which will be held within the Walled Garden of Delamont celebrating the NI year of Food & Drink. The picturesque villages of Strangford and Portaferry come alive on Saturday 30 July as the annual Strangford Lough Festival comes to town, rein-actors will bring the tower houses alive.​
