  1. Dodder Clean Up
When: Saturday 8th
Those living in and around Dublin draw so much pleasure from hiking and running along this beautiful river. We have linked up with Dodder Action to clean the banks of this beautiful natural resource from its source at Bohernabreena to where it hits the sea in Dublin city. Rack up over 20km so it’s an ideal training hike too! This is a great way to meet up with fellow trekkers and meet some of our expedition leaders and doctors. There's mighty craic to be had throughout the day and nibbles provided for everyone in the Vintage Inn after the event.
This event is open to anyone so please bring friends and family along. You need to bring your hiking gear, a good pair of gardening gloves, water and a packed lunch. One person will win a Columbia Outdry Extreme Eco Jacket during the day. We'll be announcing how you can win this closer to the time, so keep an eye on this event page. We are organizing a bus in the morning to take people from the Vintage Inn to Bohernabreena Reservoir. This will save you the hassle of getting back to your car after the event. The bus will be leaving at 9.15 am SHARP. You need to book your ticket for the bus so we know who is coming on the day. If you are driving to Dublin for the day there is plenty of free on-street parking near the Vintage Inn. If you want to make your own travel arrangements we will meet you at the Bohernabreena Reservoir Car Park at 10am.
