Electric Picnic organisers promise larger festival next year

The organisers behind Electric Picnic are promising a slightly bigger festival for 2016.

Increased space for car parking and family camping are all promised, with tickets set to go on sale this coming Friday.

51,000 are on site in Stradbally this weekend with Florence and the Machine set to wrap up on the main stage late tonight.

Thomas Cosby, the owner of the Stradbally Hall, said this year has been his favourite to date:

"It has been incredible having so many people on site enjoying themselves. The growth in numbers has created an electric atmosphere and the vibe this year has been very special."
