December 17

EPS Pumping and Treatment Systems are switching to Ireland’s leading independent energy firm Energia in a major new €2.4 million electricity deal.

The new deal will see Energia supplying the company’s 150 sites around Ireland with 2.4GWhs of electricity each year. This power will be supplied to EPS’ facilities, including those in Mallow, Co Cork, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, Mountrath, Co. Laois and Naas, Co. Kildare.

Commenting on the deal, Barry O’Toole, EPS Pumping & Treatment Systems states: “Electricity is a major input for our business, so the decision to make significant savings by switching to Energia was an easy one to make. While we are conscious of the need to control costs, we also have a strong preference to deal with a reliable supplier, who can provide first class customer service. Energia have exceeded our expectations on both counts.”

“EPS are developing a strategy for the provision of green energy where possible. This present deal further promotes and delivers our strategy.”

Alan Mulcahy, SME Sales Manager, Energia commented: “We are delighted that EPS has decided to switch to Energia for their electricity supply. Over the last ten years we have built up huge expertise dealing with Irish companies of all sizes, from large industrial users to SMEs. The combination of this expertise along with our very competitive electricity and gas rates have meant more and more Irish businesses switching to Energia.”

“We are committed to offering Irish businesses of all sizes in both the public and private sector very competitive offers for both electricity and gas, backed up by unrivalled customer service.”
