Rochestown Park Hotel save energy

Rochestown Park Hotel is set to make major cost savings from a major new electricity deal with leading independent energy provider Energia.

The deal will see Energia supply the Rochestown Park Hotel with 2.6 gigawatt hours (GwHs) of electricity over the coming year in a deal valued in the region of €400,000. 

Commenting on the deal, Mr Shay Livingstone, General Manager of The Rochestown Park Hotel commented: “We are delighted to be working with Energia. This dual fuel deal will allow us to benefit from cost reductions on electricity. The ability to save on the amount we’re paying for our energy is invaluable for any business, especially in the current challenging economic environment.”

Aidan Brennan, Key Account Manager, Energia commented: “Competitive energy prices have never been more important for Irish business. This deal to supply The Rochestown Park Hotel shows Energia’s ability to offer Irish business fantastic value for all their energy needs.”

He continued, “Building on our 25% share of the business electricity market, Energia is now making major moves in the business gas market.”

Energia has a 25% market share of the business electricity market on an all–island basis with 50,000 customers. Energia’s power stations at Huntstown in Dublin have the capability to supply up to 17% of Ireland’s electricity requirements on an all-island basis. The company also supplies 20% of all gas consumed in Ireland by the country’s largest industrial and commercial gas users.

Energia has offices in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Belfast and Omagh.
