1. What: Walking Tour of Howth

This free walking tour lets you experience Howth through the eyes of a local while strolling through this historic and picturesque fishing village. Along the way you’ll discover more about the history of the area, learn the local myths and legends and even meet Howth’s huge variety of seabirds and famous resident seal colony.  To join this fancy ramble, book your free ticket at the link below and meet at Howth Dart Station on Sunday 24th November at 11:15.

Experienced yoga practitioner and lead teacher, Bev Porrino, will be holding a free class and Q & A to demonstrate her teaching style, yoga studio and answer any and all questions aspiring yoga teachers might have! This free 1 and half hour session will take place on Saturday, 23rd November, and will include a practice, so please bring your gear.

On Saturday 23rd November at 4 pm, the Wexford Winterland Festival will launch with the spectacular Winterland Parade! Brought to you by Wexford Retailers, this colourful procession of energy, excitement and music, will wind its way through the streets of Wexford and end with the switching on of Wexford’s Christmas lights.

Copper & Straw and D.W.D. Whiskey are delighted to announce a free Irish Coffee Throwdown on Sunday, 24th November, in aid of Living Life Counselling in Bray. This Throwdown will raise money for this wonderful charity by showcasing the fusion of coffee and whiskey and doors will open at 6 pm. There'll be beer, pizza and maybe even a little whiskey tipple on the night!
6. Offaly

Once a commercial bog where peat was harvested to heat homes across the country, Lough Boora Discovery Park is now home to countless species of birds and wildlife, fish-filled lakes, a magical fairy avenue and a powerful permanent exhibition of huge outdoor sculptures. Explore it on foot or by bike! Free to enter, the Visitor Centre opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm and parking costs €2.
7. What: Quiet Lights Festival: The Chapel Sessions, Cork

On Saturday, 23rd November, between 3 pm and 7 pm, Quiet Lights will assemble some of Ireland’s most exciting artists to bring together folk music, experimental sound art and pure originality to the atmospheric surrounds of The Chapel in Griffith College. Featuring announced artists and surprise guests, The Chapel Sessions will be an all-day event. Admission is €10.
8. What: Cork Baking and Chocolate Weekend

For one weekend from 22nd to the 24th November, world-renowned chocolatiers and bakers from across Ireland and abroad will flock to Cork to showcase their powerful love for all things sweet.  A large marquee will host chocolate, baking and cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend, while visitors can also indulge in 30 minute tasting sessions in our mini tasting rooms and a children’s zone will provide energy and entertainment for the younger guests and budding bakers. The event will take place at Cork International Hotel and admission is €5.​

The Bird of Prey Centre at Aillwee Cave, County Clare, is home to birds from all around the globe as well as rare and endangered species including falcons, hawks, owls, eagles, vultures and each enclosure offers an opportunity to see, hear, and interact with these majestic creatures and learn about the ancient sport of falconry. The centre is open all weekend from 10 am to 4 pm and discount admission prices are available online.

To find out more, there will be a free Leave No Trace Awareness Course in Kilglass House on Saturday 23rd November from 10 am to 4 pm. This one day course, packed with very short classroom discussions, outdoor lectures and outdoor activities, is designed for individuals who are interested in learning more about Leave No Trace Ireland outdoor ethics and for those who will be delivering Leave No Trace Ireland Awareness workshops.

Mark the start of the festive season in Derry on Sunday, 24th of November, with the Derry Christmas Lights Switch-On from 2 pm to 6 pm.  Come and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of free Christmas themed activities and entertainment, live music, a chance to see Santa and of course the big countdown to lighting up the city centre. Get energised and jump into some confidence boosting, muscle strengthening, motor control refining parkour in Bundoran on Sunday, 24th November! JumpNI will be running a one-off session to gauge interest levels for a weekly course and teaching how to crawl, head stand/handstand and use your own body weight for a functional, fun training method that you can take and do anywhere. Sessions start at 3:45 pm and 4:45 pm and admission is €10.
