One of Dublin’s most acclaimed Christmas events returns to The Church of Holy Family this festive season. Nine different choirs from international communities will sing a selection of wonderfully authentic Christmas carols right in the heart of Stoneybatter.
The event is free to attend but a charitable donation in aid of Saint Vincent de Paul is always welcome!

Every dog has its day and this Saturday is that day! It is very important for puppies (up to 16 weeks) to be properly socialised with both other dogs and a wide variety of humans to avoid developing behavioural problems such as fear-based aggression later in life. That’s why ‘Puppy Play Dates’ are essential to properly socialising puppies by creating a warm, safe, educational environment where families and puppies can develop together. The moderating trainer is available for questions or concerns, so please don’t hesitate to make use of them as a valuable puppy parenting resource. Responsible dog ownership is very important and please remember: a dog is for life not just for Christmas.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas treat! St.Canice’s Cathedral will be filled with 120 creative and imaginative Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes this weekend. Come along and enjoy the workshops, decorate some gingerbread or just try the festive fruit punch! This unmissable event will also feature a rare belfry tour (which is not usually available to the general public). Don’t miss this fantastic civic event!

Martina Shannon, a children’s entertainer for over 20 years, will be running a Saturday Art Club where kids will have great fun creating all sorts of wonderful things and learn tons of important techniques and processes. Martina is fully Garda vetted and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Art and Artifacts from NCAD.
