Acting is a wonderful way for kids to express their creativity, gain confidence and enrich their imagination. If you know a child who’s interested in learning more about acting, The Gaiety School Of Acting is offering a day of FREE drama classes for children aged 4 to 18 years at our 3 Young Gaiety locations.

What: Seamus Heaney, Creativity Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop that invites you to respond to Seamus Heaney’s work. Together we will explore Heaney’s creative process, examine one of his poems and then encourage you to create your own unique artistic response through words, drawing or any form of artistic expression! This workshop is suitable for all abilities.

Cyril will distill 1,000 years of history down to one hour taking you through the trials and tribulations of Drogheda chequered past and giving you an idea of how the modern Drogheda came to be.

A New Year always brings new opportunities, new experiences and new connections.
2020 sees the formation of Sagittarius Hiberniensis - a new group drawn from members of the Cathedral Choir, staff at the Limerick School of Music, former students of the Limerick School of Music and Laurel Hill Coláiste, plus a few guests and friends.
Our launch concert will take place this weekend. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Cluain na dTor Nursery Garden is well known as the tropical garden of Donegal. Tended to by Seamus and his caring staff, this garden contains a variety of interesting plants and was awarded the Donegal Garden Trail Medal of Distinction in 2009.
