If you are moving out of your current building it is important that you do not end up overpaying by following these essential account actions:
- Moving out date
- Final meter read
- The name of the new tenant/landlord
- A forwarding address
This will help ensure that you receive your final bill once you have vacated the premises.
Important message: Please note that you will remain liable for all energy consumed and related charges at the premises until the account has been transferred to the new occupier, or the energy supply to the premises has been turned off.
Moving into your new premises
When moving into a new premises, we can create a new account for you on your move in date.
- The Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) and/or Gas Point Reference Number (GPRN) at the premises. This is the unique identifier number for your business meter. The identifier numbers are also available from ESB Networks for electricity and Gas Networks Ireland for gas if you cannot get access to it from your landlord.
- An opening meter reading. This will avoid your first bill being based on an estimate read.
