Energia Expands Rugby for All in Connacht with Ability West

The collaboration builds on a successful summer working with Camp Ability, Ability West's inclusive camp programme for children with intellectual disabilities and autism. Through Rugby for All sessions, participants had the chance to get active, learn new skills and experience the fun of rugby in a supportive environment.

To celebrate the partnership, camp participants, families, volunteers and Connacht Rugby players came together at Dexcom Stadium for a special closing event. The day included player meet-and-greets, a stadium tour, live music and the introduction of Energia Culture Captains, Niamh Mitchell and Matthew Forde.

Since launching Rugby for All in 2023, Energia has been working with rugby partners to create more opportunities for people of all abilities to take part in the game. This latest partnership with Ability West is another step towards making rugby more accessible and inclusive across Connacht.
