Ireland’s greenest energy provider have teamed up with IMC Cinemas to provide their 19 cinemas with Renewable Electricity.
The Renewable Electricity will power 147 cinema screens across Ireland, along with their head office.
The move to green energy is one step in IMC Cinema’s overall sustainability strategy which has also seen them upgrade to LED lighting to reduce energy consumption.
Speaking about the partnership, Lucy Horgan, Marketing and Operations Manager from IMC Cinemas said: “Sustainability is a key focus for us at IMC and for the audiences who visit our cinemas. Thanks to Energia, they can enjoy the latest blockbuster or award winner knowing that the power behind our screens is 100% renewable.”
Elaine O’Hara, Customer Account Manager from Energia said: “We are delighted to partner with IMC Cinemas to provide them with green energy, so that cinema goers can enjoy their movie experience and contribute toward sustainability.
