The Energia Family Business Awards will celebrate the longevity and resilience of family-run businesses on the 15th of May 2020 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin.
The Energia Family Business Awards will celebrate the longevity and resilience of family-run businesses on the 15th of May 2020 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin. The theme of the event is “growing through generations” this year.

Now in its 2nd year, The Energia Family Business Awards boasts 18 categories, each of which recognises the outstanding achievements of family-owned businesses in Ireland throughout all sectors and industries.

Entries for this year's awards are now open. Categories include:

● Family Food and Drink Producer of the Year
● Transport and Logistics Family Business of the Year
● Family Business Longevity Award
● Innovative Family Business Award
● Retail and Wholesale Family Business of the Year
● Manufacturing and Engineering Family Business of the Year
● International Family Business of the Year
● Tech Family Business of the Year
● Energia Sustainable Family Business of the Year
● Family Business CSR Award

The oldest official family business in Ireland and the world’s oldest candle company, Rathborne Candles, will be among this year’s entrants. The company, which has experienced centuries of challenges since it was first established in 1488, is a prime example of a business that has powered the economy, encouraged local buying and boosted Ireland’s international reputation. The Energia Family Business Awards celebrate the families, heritage, and success of some of Ireland’s most incredible long-running businesses.

Last year’s awards saw entries from over 200 family businesses, with 18 well-deserved companies being crowned as winners.
