Explorium, based in Sandyford, is a great day out for all the family!  This unique experience offers over 300 interactive exhibits, sparking interest in visitors of all ages as well as showcasing many insights to the world of science. Explorium have collaborated with museums across the world to offer such a variety of exhibits to Irish visitors.

Explorium identified a gap in Ireland to offer science-lead experiences and activities aimed towards school-going children while making it fun and engaging. The idea behind Explorium is to learn about science in interesting ways while also to having a memorable and exciting day out which aims to inspire curious minds.

The exhibits require interaction meaning that visitor participation is essential, rather than traditional museum-like viewing.

Explorium is the place where fun, interaction and discovery merge together. With the world’s longest indoor cave and the opportunity to control an orchestra with laser instruments it’ll be a day the family won’t forget! Explorium also offers activities that include virtual reality, film-making, gravity rooms, sports simulators and much more.
