Cruinniú Kreative Day at Iontas

A fun interactive day of creativity awaits young people aged 8-12 years for Cruinniú this year at the Iontas Theatre, exploring the art of movement and the movement of Art! Get moving in the theatre, using dance, movement, drama, and masks; And get Arty while creating your own personal masterpiece to take home. During the workshops we will chat about our art affects how we move, and how our movement affects our Artwork!

Family Workshop at Nation Gallery Ireland

While the workshops are free, your family will need book a place in person from 11:00 on the day of the workshop. Drop by the Atrium Creative Space from 11:00 to secure your place and then do some drawing while you wait.

Irish Famine Exhibition

Deaths as a proportion to population makes The Irish Potato Famine one of the worst Famines in history. There was sufficient food in the country throughout the 'Famine' years, yet over a million people died from starvation and disease, and millions more were forced to flee.
The story boards display rare 19th century photographs, witness accounts, contemporary sketches as well as maps and statistical information. Experience the deeply moving story of the Irish Potato Famine, a catastrophic event in Irish History.
A 15-minute film with seating is included in the Exhibition and the average time spent by visitors is 1.25 hours.
