Arthur Dunne Memorial Swim
"Do you ever wish you were tough enough to battle the elements, particularly the tides and underwater life in an open sea swim?"" One man who did that, regularly and bravely, was Arthur Dunne, who managed the Half Moon Swimming Club. He was an inspiration to many of the swimmers he worked with, and one in particular dedicated his first marathon swim to him. Arthur is being remembered with this Dublin Bay swim which will invite enthusiastic swimmers to honour him by making a literal splash.
