These grants are available to make it more accessible for homeowners to improve their homes energy efficiency and improve the nation's overall BER rating to a B grade.
What does the Better Energy Home Scheme cover?
The Better Energy Home scheme covers anything from upgrading insulation, heating controls, and heat pump systems, to installing solar electricity and water heating. SEAI will provide grants up to 35% depending on the type of home improvement. This grant also offers extra benefits to homeowners who complete three or more energy-saving upgrades in their home.

Who is eligible for the home improvement grants?
